The Charitable Foundation of the Grand Lodge of Maine began the “Building Our Community” grant last year to identify and support active nonprofits working to improve their communities for future generations. The Maine Children’s Alliance works to make Maine a better place to be a kid through research, collaboration and advocacy. Most recently, at the Maine Children’s Alliance, we released our 2015 Maine KIDS COUNT® Data Book , the most comprehensive collection of data regarding children in Maine.
“We hope our friends and colleagues in child and family advocacy will be visiting the Charitable Foundation website to vote for the Maine Children’s Alliance and spread the word,” said Claire Berkowitz, Executive Director.
Last year, the “Building Our Community” Grant for Masonic District 11, was awarded to the Children’s Center Early Intervention and Family Support in Augusta. Show your support and vote for MCA for the “Building Our Community Grant!”
