Jun 18 2015 17:58
Learn how you can help MCA get ready for the 2015 Maine KIDS COUNT Data book.
1 They say that a picture is worth a thousand words. Here at the Maine Children’s Alliance, we use research and data to tell the story of what it is like to be a Maine kid. However, numbers only tell half the story, which is why we need your help.
1 Send us photos of your Maine kids in action and help us paint a better picture of what it’s like to be a Maine kid in our online platforms and both digital and print publications. Your photos will bring our data and information to life, help us better advocate for sound policies and practices for Maine children, youth and families, and showcase your Maine kids in action!Pictures remind policymakers that Maine kids are more than just numbers and data, which is precisely why these policies are so important.[caption id="attachment_1089" align="alignright" width="240"]

This year we have made it easier than ever to send us your photos:
- Go online.
- Fill out the photo release form.
- Submit!
This is a pilot program so feel free to shoot us an email if you have any issues questions.
All photo submissions must be in jpeg, tiff or pdf image files (no gif files). For print publications, we can only use high quality photos so images must be at least 300 dpi. Pictures are a great way to help us beyond following through with Action Alerts and contributing financially. Thanks in advance for using your photos to give Maine kids the voice they deserve!Upcoming Events
