Birth to Three Webcast of the Plenary Sessions

The webcast of the Birth to Three Institute plenary sessions is now available at the U.S. Dept. of Health and Human Services Administration for Children and Families.

The 9th Annual Head Start and Child Care Birth to Three Institute was held June 21-24, 2005 in Washington, DC. Over 1200 professionals attended the Institute, but we realize that there are many more professionals who work with babies, toddlers, and their families in Early Head Start and child care programs who can benefit from the information shared at the Institute. In order to ensure that the highest possible number of these professionals has access to the valuable information presented at the Institute, the plenary sessions were recorded and are now available as a webcast.

Plenary sessions serve the purpose of "framing" the Institute. Each plenary session focused on one element in the quest of providing quality services to babies, toddlers, and their families (the child, the family, the professional and the system). We framed the Institute this way to simultaneously communicate the importance of each individual piece, as well as how important it is that all the pieces come together to create a complete picture of quality services for those served by Early Head Start and child care programs.
