Maine Covering Kids and Families CampaignOn-line-information about this campaign is featured on the Maine Primary Care Association's website. The Covering Kids and Families campaign is a joint effort of Maine Equal Justice Partners (MEJP), Consumers for Affordable Health Care (CAHC) and Maine Primary Care Association. These organizations have collaborated to increase enrollment of eligible children and families into the MaineCare program. The Campaign provides a variety of organizations with technical training, which is designed to help service providers educate consumers about the availability of health care (MaineCare) and to simplify the enrollment process. The Campaign also conducts targeted outreach activities and broad state-wide outreach efforts such as Back to School and the Children's Sabbath. Coalition members have worked closely with unions, social service providers, and members of the primary care safety net in the state.
