Cary Olson

Cary Olson stands out as a wholehearted supporter of the Maine Children's Alliance. Her enthusiasm and her understanding nourished the Alliance since its beginning in 1994. She frequently encouraged other individuals and organizations to lend their personal and financial assistance. Indeed, she recruited three current board members, encouraged collaboration among non-profit groups and government agencies, and remained a constant advocate for corporate investment in Maine children and families. Four years ago, she joined Fleet Maine as its community relations manager. The move represented a merger between an individual who embodies community spirit and a corporation committed to community development. Success by Six, the East End Children's Workshop, Portland Partnerships, the YWCA, Fleet All Stars, Fleet School Matters, and the Maine Children's Alliance are just some of the programs and organizations that have benefited from an exceptional combination of individual and corporate commitment.
